Taking advantage of beautiful cool, sunny weather, sophomore standouts Rock Fortna (4th, 17:17), Brian Iatarola (5th, 17:18), and Declan McDonald (11th, 17:38) led the Bucks' herd. Juniors Trevor Belding (14th, 17:46 PR), Matt Bowen (15th, 17:47), and Beckett Wilson (16th, 17:50) teamed up with freshman Brian Mass (17th, 17:54 PR) to post the best 1-5 spread (30 seconds) as well as the best 1-7 spread (37 seconds) of the day. The Bucks placed seven runners in front of East's 5th man and also placed their seventh runner ahead of Pennridge's seventh man.
Senior Ben Aunins raced to a solid 18:06 (20th) as the Bucks' 8th man, followed closely by junior Ian Davies (22nd, 18:16), sophomore Logan Mazullo (23rd, 18:22), and freshman Alec Hofer (25th, 18:40 PR). West's 12th-14th men, juniors Ben Severn (28th, 18:50), Tyler Press (29th, 18:50, PR), and Matt Bahner (30th, 18:51) also placed ahead of Pennridge's and East's ninth men.
Personal records were also accomplished by freshmen Big Joe Altadonna (19:14), Mark McClenahan (19:59), and Stephen Bolton (20:32), sophomores Brody Johnson (20:13) and Ryan Hickey (22:04), junior Troy Press (19:14), and senior Connor Baun (20:49).
The Bucks return to action at the historic Belmont Plateau in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia on Saturday for Archbishop Ryan's Briarwood Invitational.
