41st, and 44th. Kilgannon, Morgan, and Bone were separated by just 13 seconds as they accomplished near personal best times of 17:40, 17:44, and 17:53. Sophomore Patrick Kelly stepped up for the Bucks as their fifth and final scoring varsity runner. Kelly had an eight second personal best of 18:24 to show for his effort. The Bucks placed 8th in a field of 14 teams with 192 points, just behind friendly rivals Pennridge (5th, 160 points) and Central Bucks East (6th, 172 points).
In the junior varsity race, the Bucks placed 7th out of 11 teams with 181 points. The Bucks finished just ahead of CB East (9th, 215 points) and just behind Pennridge (5th, 128 points). Junior newcomer Gray Wilson lead the pack for the Bucks, placing 29th with a personal best of 19:29. Seniors Sean Young and Anthony Soares were close behind, placing 35th and 37th with times of 19:45 and 19:49. Sophomore Ian Davies followed with a 19:52. Dean Woodrow closed out the scoring with a solid 59th place. All five of West’s scorers in the JV race placed in the top half of the 133-man field.
West's novice team dominated the field with just 51 points on Friday night. Pennsbury finished 2nd with 88 points, while Suburban One League Continental Conference rivals Pennridge and East finished 5th and 6th with 148 and 152 points, respectively. Freshmen Rock Fortna (4th, 11:21), Brian Iatarola (5th, 11:24) and Declan McDonald (7th, 11:36) rolled with the top group of seven runners which separated itself from the field by 29 seconds in the 2.1 mile race. Sophomores Andrew Baker (14th, 12:17), Beckett Wilson (21st, 12:43), Gillis Wang (28th, 12:55), and Trevor Belding (31st, 12:58) rounded out the top seven novices for the Bucks as they piled 12 runners in the top half of the field also including Henry Mackenson, Tyler Press, Carter Zerweck, Logan Mazzullo, and Nick
Bartell.
