Following suit, the Bucks sophomore shotputters Adam Anastasiadis and Brad Baker each stepped up with EIGHT FEET worth of personal best between the two of them. Anastasiadis heaved the shot 42-1 in just his second week implementing the spin technique, while Baker had a big PR of 32-3.
The 4x200 meter relay ran a season-best 1:35.2. Junior Jamie Valdez (24.5) led off, passing the baton to senior Austin Kline (23.2 PR), followed by sophomore Josh Bazzano (24.3), and anchored by Greg Branch (23.2).
Four PRs added solid experience for junior Ben Aunins (2:18.3), sophomore Joe Brill (2:16.9), freshman Ryan McIlhinney (2:22.6), and freshman Declan McDonald (2:25.6) in the 4x800 meter relay. The young Bucks faired well, posting a 9:26.4 in their first time running on a banked track.
Senior Chris Berry had a solid indoor PR of 4:30.1 in the 1600 meter anchor leg of the distance medley relay. Berry teamed up with freshman Rock Fortna and fellow seniors AJ Morgan and Jimmie Kilgannon to post a 10-second season best of 11:01.1.
The high water mark on the day for the Bucks came in the 4x400 meter relay. Greg Branch (52.5 PR), Shawn Young (51.5 PR), Ethan Long (52.8 PR), and Austin Kline (51.1 PR) placed 2nd to Bensalem. The Bucks' 3:28.0 is the 6th fastest time in the Pennsylvania after a weekend of full big meets on banked tracks.
The Bucks return to action on Saturday at Glen Mills at 10:00 am.
