Austin Kline also picked up a bronze medal for the Bucks in the 400 meter dash. His 53.77 was just half a second behind the first and second place runners from Chester and O'Hara, respectively.
West also picked up a seventh place finish from Chris Berry, Austin Kline, Rock Fortna, and AJ Morgan in the 4x800 meter relay. Fortna set an indoor PR of 2:10 on the Bucks' third leg. Berry, Morgan, and Fortna all doubled back to place 6th, 7th, and 11th in the 3200 meter run.
Senior hurdler and sprinter Shawn Young had a terrific season debut in the 55 hurdles, placing 6th in the trials and 9th in the finals with times of 8.41 and 8.37 seconds, respectively. 36 hurdlers competed on Thursday night.
Senior Jimmie Kilgannon also had a strong day, running an indoor PR of 2:11.92 in the 800 meters to place 7th out of 43 competitors.
Junior Jamie Valdez placed 10th in the long jump, with four 18 foot jumps. Valdez's best leap of the day was 18' 9.75".
The young Bucks also put together an impressive 4x200. The 1:42 effort featured sophomores Josh Bazzano, Andrew Baker, DhungJoo Kim, and freshman standout Ryan Walsh.
The Bucks return to action on Saturday at Lehigh University.
