Senior hurdler Shawn Young was originally slated to hurdle, but when a relay needed a Young due to injury, Big Dan was in the right place at the right time. With just enough time to lace up his spikes, Dan survived the trials with a 9.70 effort and posted an impressive 9.53 in the finals when given some time for a proper warmup. His 9.53 scared his season best at an early hour of the morning and earned him his varsity letter for the season.
Continuing his streak of graceful power, Bucks sophomore Adam Anastasiadis made noise again on Saturday, this time placing 4th overall and also earning his varsity letter for the indoor season. Anastasiadis had a best effort of 42' 7" on Saturday, just a foot shy of his personal best set last Wednesday.
The Bucks return to action on Friday night at Lehigh for the Last Chance Meet.
