Sophomores Rock Fortna and Brian Iatarola placed 2nd and 3rd overall in 17:04 and 17:06, followed by Hatboro's 2nd-5th men (17:15-17:30). West sophomore Declan McDonald (8th, 17:37) and juniors Trevor Belding (9th, 17:42), Matt Bowen (10th, 17:46), and Beckett Wilson (12th, 17:57) were just out of reach.
Freshman Teagan Fortna bookended the Bucks' top seven on Wednesday with brother Rock. Wednesday marked Teagan's first top seven finish this season with his near-PR 18:01 effort.
Junior Ben Severn (18th, 18:09), freshmen Ben Smullen (18th, 18:14) and Brian Mass (19th, 18:27), junior Pat Kelly (20th, 18:33), sophomore Logan Mazullo (21st, 18:33), juniors Andrew Baker (23rd, 18:45) and Troy Press (24th, 18:45, PR), and Big Joe Altadonna (25th, 18:50) all placed in the top 25 overall for the Bucks. Freshman Mark McClenahan also placed in the top half of the 59-man field by virtue of his 29th place finish in 18:59.
West returns to action on Wednesday against Central Bucks South and North Penn at North Penn HS at 3:30pm.
