The Bucks all-senior 4x800 followed suit, placing 5th among 22 teams with their 8:32.62. Jimmie Kilgannon led off with a PR of 2:09.5, followed by AJ Morgan (2:05.6), Shawn Young (2:08.9), and Chris Berry (2:08.0).
The 4x400 relay also placed 5th among a field of 26 squads. In the second fastest heat, Greg Branch (52.5) gave the Bucks a sizeable lead on the first leg, which sophomore Andrew Baker (56.6) fought successfully to maintain, Ethan Long (54.8) extended, and Austin Kline (53.7) held strong.
Junior jumpers Jordan Gilliland and Jamie Valdez also had strong performances. Gilliland placed 6th in the high jump, clearing 5' 2" and 5' 4" on his first attempts and 5' 6" on his second attempt. Gilliland had a strong attempt at 5' 8" before exiting the competition. Valdez narrowly fouled his first two attempts in the long jump but remained focused to hit a season best of 19' 2.25" and place 10th overall.
